Kommentti: Automaattiset autopesulat käyttävät voimakkaita kemikaaleja auton pesemiseen, joten pesuloiden harjakset eivät millään tavoin sovi koirien peseytymiseen.

Ongelma on kuitenkin useimmiten siinä, kun likaisen auton päälle sataa lunta ja kotipihassa kotikonstein lunta harjataan/skrabataan/raaputetaan pois maalipinnasta, niin lumen alla oleva (auton pintaan jäätynyt) "hiekkainen" lika naarmuttaa auton maalipintaa (kuin hiekkapaperi). Auton maalipintaan jäätyneet lumet pitäisi sulattaa pois esimerkiksi lämpimässä parkkihallissa.
